Can I use any cleaners in the Smart Living Steam Junior?

The continuous high-temperature steam (135°C) does an excellent job on its own. If you wish, you can try adding a bit of vinegar, as this is an inexpensive environmentally friendly option and can even be used inside the unit to clean any hard water deposits.

Does steam cleaning kill bacteria, germs, and even dust mites?

Yes! Steam cleaning at this temperature can kill up to 99.9% of bacteria, germs, and dust mites. 

What is the best cleaning solution to use with my CARBON Tuff cloths?

Nearly any type of cleaning spray is recommended; however, you'd be amazed how well the Tuffs clean using only water, and for smudges/streak, you can use the cloths dry. Please note that cleaning products containing bleach may damage or discolor the cloths. 

What is the best way to wash my CarbonTuff cloths?

Washing is the washer and dryer is fine. However, we do not recommend fabric softener as it can leave a residue that leaves film when cleaning in the cloth. We highly recommend hanging to dry for longevity and best results.
